The Story behind She Is Outside

It all started with a group of overworked, overstretched, and under-socialized women—juggling work, family, responsibilities, and everything in between. We were the type of women who used to be the life of the party, but somewhere along the way, our calendars filled up with everything except us.

We wanted adventure, connection, and a reason to dress up again—but planning nights out felt like another task on our endless to-do lists. Some of us didn’t want to go out alone, others didn’t want to only travel with family, and finding the right vibe? Impossible.

So one night, over wine and tired laughter, we said:

"Why don’t we create the thing we’re looking for?"
